Nashville, TN – For Word/Warner Bros. Recordings artists and Platinum-Selling trio Point Of Grace (Shelley Breen, Leigh Cappillino, Denise Jones), it is never too soon to break out the Christmas music, and with their new collection entitled Home For The Holidays available everywhere today, fans can get in the yuletide spirit early as well. This album encompasses a broad range of styles including pop, jazz and country that bring a fresh, yet familiar sound to the season’s favorite tunes.
Produced by 2010 GRAMMY-winner Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift) and Stephanie Chapman, the 10-song collection features new takes on tried-and-true Christmas classics such as the title cut, “Joy To The World” and “Little Drummer Boy” as well as newer offerings, “Labor Of Love,” “Candy Cane Lane,” and “Immanuel.” The diversity of songs and sounds, along with the signature harmonies that set this two-time GRAMMY nominated group apart, is sure to make Home For The Holidays a household favorite and part of family traditions for years to come.
In support of the album, Point Of Grace will be featured on the cover of the February issue of Susie Magazine along with features in Country Weekly, Christianity Today, Nashville Parent, SoulAudio.com and Roughstock.com. The talented trio will also be appearing on WSMV NBC Affiliate’s “More At Midday” show with host Holly Thompson and WSMV’s “Better Nashville.”
Point Of Grace will also take ‘caroling’ to the next level this winter with their headlining “Home For The Holidays” Christmas tour, which kicks off on December 2 in Eden Prairie, MN. Opening for Point Of Grace will be Fervent Records artist Chris August.
Since forming at Ouachita Baptist University 19 years ago, the two-time GRAMMY nominees have sold more than 6 million albums and earned 24 consecutive No. 1 singles (27 total including radio staples “Steady On”, “The Great Divide” and “Circle of Friends”), a feat unmatched by any artist in any genre. They’ve won 10 prestigious Dove Awards, including Country Recorded Song of the Year in 2008 for “How You Live” and Country Recorded Song of the Year in 2009 for “I Wish.”
